Description

Sankyo 72 note Orpheus Music Movement in our custom Eclipse Series Handcrafted Figured Hard Maple Music Box.  This box features inverse curves and square corners, mitered joinery, Classic cove trim design with black accent, clear lacquer Satin finish, 1/8 inch thick Solid Brass Side Rail Hinge w/ 90 stop, Framed glass cover to protect the movement, on / off switch at the front and winding key under the bottom. This custom music box measures 10-3/4 L x 7 1/4 W x 4 H and weighs 2.8 lbs. Total weight with movement is 5 lbs. Hard Maple is a temperate hardwood grown in Northeastern North America. The color is cream, almost white. It has a straight grain and even texture. Patterns found in Hard Maple are known as figured, birds eye, curly, and quilted. The janka hardness rating is 1,450.
