This box features mitered joinery, Classic ogee and round trim design, oval fan marquetry, clear lacquer Satin finish, 1/8 inch thick Solid Brass Side Rail Hinge w/ 90 stop, Plexiglas cover to protect the movement, on / off switch at the front and winding key under the bottom. The Handcrafted Red Oak Music Box measures 10-5/8 D x 6-3/4 W x 3-3/4 H and weighs 2.4 lbs. Total weight with movement is 4.6 lbs. Red Oak is a hardwood grown in Northeastern USA and Southeast Canada. It has a straight grain and coarse uneven texture. The color is light to medium brown with reddish tones.
